The story is set in the setting of Thoothukudi. Saravanaperumal is a rich agent, and Subbiah and his little girl Sakunthaladevi are his business rivals. Bharaniputhiran is Saravanan's nephew. Bhanumathi is an undergrad who succumbs to Bharani and continues tailing him. Bharani comes to realize that Bhanu is Sakunthaladevi's just girl and suspects her conduct and thus does not respond love.
