KEE features Jeeva and Govinda Padmasoorya in the main lead role and the movie was directed by Kaales. The movie was a big disaster at the box office. The movie had also faced many problems before the release which resulted in around 6 months delay in release. The movie received extremely negative reviews from critics.

 The Hindi dubbing rights of the movie were sold out to Goldmines Telefilms Pvt. Ltd. just before the Tamil release at a decent deal.
